Bridgman High School
Suzy Barnes
Welcome to my page and an exciting 2008-09 school year! I am a resident of Bridgman with two sons who have attended Bridgman Public Schools. I have been a registered nurse for 29 years and a teacher at Bridgman for 4 years.
Learning about the human body can enrich student's lives and help them to see the vital part of the larger world they live in. Each of the classes I teach give your students the opportunity to be a partner in the knowledge and care of the human body.
The Allied Health and Anatomy classes both offer your students the opportunity to belong to perhaps their first professional organization "HOSA." HOSA stands for Health Occupations Students of America. This exciting organization is service driven and encourages each student member to serve their community and explore their chosen profession while they are still students. The HOSA activities include knowledge and skill conferences at the local, state and national level. Students have the opportunity to meet a diverse student population exploring many different health care careers.
I currently teach:
Allied Health Technology (Nurse Assisting)
Anatomy & Physiology
