April 13 , 2010

We are finishing up our studies of WWII. The students have Chapter 14 People and events to know, to define for homework.  Next week we will be playing Jeopardy and then having an exam on World War II.

Geography B

The students are working on their project on an Asian city. This is due in on April 19.

Yearbook

We are working on spreads of sports, and student life. This will be something that continues throughout the year until the book is completed.

The students have been told that they are responsible for getting the information for the yearbook, even if this means after school time and week-end time. Several students have stepped up to do their share, others are not doing anything. Students are graded in part on their participation and cooperation on getting things done on time.  By not taking a turn at doing an out of classtime assignment, they will lose points.

We will take orders for Yearbooks again, but the price has gone up. The books are now $60 through April.  We will decide if we still need to sell books for May, if so the price will be $65.
