Sculpture Unit

Students will design prototypes of the six different forms of chess pieces. They will draw and then sculpt ideas showing themes. Presentation to the class show involve defense of the characteristics chosen to define the chess pieces.

Architecture

Students will work in groups to design a floor plan, logo and facade for an imaginary mall. The groups will present the design as though selling the space to potential leasers, explaining why their architecture appeals to customers as a retail space.
