Welcome to Mrs. Harding's English Class!

 

     I am looking forward to the 2007-2008 school year and have lots of new ideas to make our year together successful and fun.  I want to share my excitement and enthusiasm with you, and I hope that you can catch the ENGLISH SPIRIT and become a motivated and life long reader.

My classes:

English 9 - Novel Assignment due April 11th, 2008

Basic Speech - Students will learn about the different aspects of communication and have the opportunity to deliver a variety of speeches.  There is no book for this class.

English 11 - This class covers American Literature the first semester and British Literature the second semester.

English 12 - English 12 will be centered around the study of various novels.  Possible novels include:

        The Catcher In The Rye

                  1984

                  The Scarlet Letter

                  Native Son

                  A Separate Peace

                  The Great Gatsby
