Welcome to the Bridgman Aquatic Center

Pool Policy change:  Doors leading out to the pool will be locked until approximately 5 minutes prior to program start. This will insure that a lifeguard is in place for your saftey.

"Our Mission is to provide safe, recreational, instructional, competitive, and therapeutic water activities for area communities thereby promoting health, fitness, and enjoyment for individuals of all ages."

About the Aquatic Center

  • The Bridgman Aquatic Center was completed in 1974 under the authority of the Bridgman Public Schools Board of Education.
  • The pool serves all of Berrien County, and the surrounding communities.
  • Our facility is a six lane, 25 yard competitive pool with an attached 12 foot deep diving well and a 1m competitive diving board.
  • The facility can accommodate approximately 225 patrons and 350 spectators. Both locker rooms include a private sauna, showers, and dressing areas.
  • Water quality is monitored by a National Swimming Pool Foundation certified operator.
  • Training equipment is available for adult lap and competitive swimming classes at no extra cost. Handicap stairs are available.
  • Recreational equipment including water polo and water basketball are available.

Our Commitment to Quality

At the Bridgman Aquatic Center, we pride ourselves by specializing in personalized and individualized program development and evaluation. Creating a safe and caring environment is a constant priority.

Even if you are not a swimmer, there are programs where you can be successful. Aqua jogging, walking, aerobics, and the arthritis classes require no swimming ability.  We can also provide access to the Bridgman High School weight room.

Courses, schedules, and fees are designed with your busy schedule in mind. There are no membership fees. We offer innovative programs with instructors and coaches committed to quality.

Pool staff members are trained and certified by the following organizations:

American Red Cross, National Swimming Pool Foundation, The Arthritis Foundation, USA Swimming, and the American Swimming Coaches Association.
