Reed Middle School Shop
We are currently building a small wooden boat, which could turn into a larger boatbuilding, sailing and rowing movement if we are able to collaborate and get people involved.  For more information, or to get involved, check out our Shellback web site, click here to get there.
Thanks to the Board of Education and the Instructional Council the RMS Workshop is now equipped with a SawStop table saw that senses when the blade comes in conact with human flesh, and then stops the blade and retracts it below the table in five milliseconds thus reducing the risk of serious injury.  For more information, or to see a video demonstration click here.

Thanks to the Instructional Council and the Board of Education the RMS Workshop is now equipped with MIG welding technology, which enables us to easily weld mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum!
