Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT)

The PSAT is being offered on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at Bridgman High School.  Please sign up in the guidance office to take the test.  The test costs $15.00.

Michigan Merit Examination

All juniors in the State of Michigan will be taking the Michigan Merit Examination (MME) beginning on March 11, 2008.  The MME will consist of the ACT College Entrance Exam, the ACT Work Keys, the Michigan Mathematics, the Michigan Science and the Michigan Social Studies Tests. The MME will be used to determine whether juniors are meeting or exceeding the Michigan Curriculum Standards as well as eligibility for the Michigan Promise Scholarship.

ACT Test Preparation Program

There is a free ACT Test Prep program available through the Michigan Virtual High School.

Dual Enrollment Opportunities

Qualified junior and senior level students have the opportunity to enroll in college level courses while still in high school under the provisions of the Post Secondary Options Act of 1996.   Interested students/parents must notify the Guidance Office of their intent to participate.  Contact the Guidance Office for more information.
