Meeting Minutes: January February (rescheduled due to weather) March (rescheduled due to snow day) Vote! PTO elections are Wednesday, May 14th at 2:30pm. Please come to the Multi-Purpose Room and vote for next year's Board. Hope to see you there! Volunteers, please mark your calendars ...Volunteer Dessert will be held on May 22nd at 2:30 p.m. - Please allow the teachers and staff at BES to show you their appreciation for you've done this year. 1st thru 4th grade parents, Field Day is June 5th, come join the fun and cheer them on...Mrs. Allen will be sending information home soon. THANK YOU FOR PARTICIPATING IN OUR FALL FUNDRAISERS! WE APPRECIATE YOUR SUPPORT!! The PTO provides many events, items and activities to the students at BES throughout the year. Everything that the PTO sponsors or provides is funded solely by direct contributions, donations and fundraising. Every cent that is raised by the PTO is put back into the school in some way, shape or form. The PTO does not expect every family to participate in every fundraiser, we just hope that each family finds at least one that appeals to them. DIRECT FUNDRAISERS *Involves the selling of products *Typically, there are two per year INDIRECT FUNDRAISERS *No selling of products *Sign up at anytime. Visit the store or their website for more information. Includes: Meijers Community Rewards swipe card, Hardings Community Script swipe card, Martin's swipe card, Gordon Food Service Swipe Card, Spartan labels, Target Take Charge program and Box Tops for Education. If you have any fund-raising questions, please contact any PTO board member or our Fundraising Chairperson, Lynda Lowery. She can be reached at 465-5858 or lynda8630@comcast.net. No matter how you choose to participate, please know that everyone on the PTO and at BES appreciates your support.
