STUDENT CREDIT UNION
The Students’ 1st Credit Union branch at BES had another great year. We will reopen
September 18th on Thursday mornings at the same time (8:10-8:30) and place. The ’07-’08
totals are in and total deposits were 191 for a total amount of almost $ 4000! This is down
some from the previous year but many students made regular deposits all year long and
accumulated quite a balance by year end. I want to thank all the BES savers that made the
year so successful. If you haven’t started on the road to saving for your future, get an early
start next year and join the fun. We had several students win prizes and incentives for saving
during the year. It is EASY and FUN to save at the Students’ 1st Credit Union.
If you wish to continue saving during the summer or need access to your funds, you can
visit any Berrien Teachers Credit Union branch office in St. Joseph, Berrien Springs, Niles,
Coloma, Dowagiac, or South Haven. For hours and directions to the branches, please visit
our web site at www.btcu.com.
For more information about the Students’ 1st CU program, please contact me at 983-6357
ext. 2730. We hope to have even more dedicated savers next year! Hope everyone has a
wonderful summer break. See you next fall.
