Welcome to Mrs. Knowlton's Room
Tentative Agenda for the week of December 15.
Math:
Legos were awesome! We'll try to get through a couple lessons this week. Your child's schedule many not match exactly what is listed here. I'll have to do some rearranging because of Legos.
I've made some further changes. It was too hard having all three classes at different places. I dropped SL 5.5 until after the holiday.
Monday: Using a protractor to make a circle graph (SL 5.3)
Tuesday: Coordinate Geometry (SL 5.4)
Wednesday: Coordinate Designs
Thursday: Programming on the TI-73
Friday: Battleship/Movies
Language Arts:
The students have been doing a wonderful job with Literature Circles. We've had some great conversations. This is the last week of our Adventure Stories. Word Study will become part of the literature circle rotation, so the quiz will now be on the following Monday not Friday.
Weekly Meeting Schedule:
Monday - I am the Iceworm
Tuesday - Hatchet
Wednesday - Holes
Thursday - Where the Red Fern Grows
Friday - The Wanderer
Monday: Meeting/parts of a letter/hypo- quiz
Tuesday: Meeting/How to persuade
